ABOUT RIVER'S EDGE EARLY LEARNING ACADEMY
It is essential to the River’s Edge Early Learning Academy program that families are involved in making decisions about their children’s experiences. Our goal is to support children and families in their education and family life. Our center is a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore, experiment, and learn. We provide opportunities for families and teachers to communicate about the progress and needs of their children.
Mission
River’s Edge Early Learning Academy understands the importance of providing a child-centered, holistic learning environment for children to explore the world around them. From infancy through kindergarten preparation, we provide an engaging and nurturing environment that meets the needs and interests of each child. We create a curriculum that meets the child where they are at developmentally, and encourages growth to the best of their abilities through various learning experiences, allowing them to explore and achieve their own self-awareness.
Vision
To guide and support children in their cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development to prepare them for the next stage of their young lives. While also encouraging growth and understanding of the latest early childhood education best practices for our staff.
Value
At River's Edge Early Learning Academy, we give children the opportunity and tools to explore and learn independently, as well as engage in teacher-led projects and lessons. We do this by creating and following a daily schedule and curriculum, that allows free play, group time, and rest. We strive to guide and support children through their cognitive, motor, and social-emotional development. We create a positive environment of communication, and a community of collaboration that prides itself on integrity, accountability, and compassion.
Goals
Instill independence, positivity, and confidence.
Encourage healthy habits.
Foster positive relationships.
Manage and express emotions in healthy ways.
Provide them with the tools and knowledge to prepare them for the next step in their lifelong journey of learning.
